This weekend I'm heading on a solo camping trip to test the contents of my 72 hour emergency kit. 2015 was my first attempt at creating a 72 hour emergency kit, and my instincts tell me that I'm either missing something very important, or that I just haven't thought it all the way through. Here's my bag (most of it anyway - I left garbage bags and a few other things tightly packed up inside).
I'll unpack it over the weekend and take better pictures to share with you early next week.
Not sure what a 72 hour emergency kit is?
They're designed to help you through an emergency (like a hurricane or other natural disaster). They're not really for the purpose of a camping weekend.
